Our Passport and Visa Photographic Service
You could have your next passport photograph taken in a supermarket / high street DIY photo booth or in the corner of a high street store with other people in the queue watching you while waiting. Alternatively you could visit SR Photography and have your passport photograph taken in a relaxed, friendly, stress free, air conditioned studio.
You can view the images on screen and select your preferred photo before printing. An Adult or Teenager passport photo can normally be taken, set up for printing and printed in 10 to 15 minutes, obviously young children and babies can take a little longer. While we produce you photographs, you can sit back and relax using our free super fast broadband to catch up on your email or why not 'check in' to our facebook page.

Frequently Asked Questions
I normally wear glasses?
You can have your photograph taken without glasses however if you would prefer your passport photograph taken with vision correcting glasses then this is not a problem. Sunglasses or tinted glasses however will result in your application being rejected by the passport office. Glasses frames covering part of the eye will also cause your application to be rejected.
What should I wear?
As the images are only head and shoulders it makes little difference, however as the images are shot against a white or light grey background then darker colours of clothing will often provide greater separation and definition of you from the background.
I am visiting straight from work / gym etc. can I get changed?
We have a changing room available if you would like a change of clothing for your photograph.
I need my baby or young child’s passport photograph taken?
We do photograph babies and young children, this can sometimes take a little longer to obtain the required image. We can also use our 'Baby Poser' (shaped white bean bag) if required.
For UK passports the guidelines for babies and young children are:
Children must be on their own in the picture.
Babies must not be holding toys or using dummies.
Children under six don’t have to be looking directly at the camera or have a neutral expression.
Children under one don’t have to have their eyes open. If their head is supported by a hand, the hand mustn’t be visible in the photo.
Can you countersign my application?
Unfortunately not, as we need to have known you for over 2 years to be able to countersign an application.
Some countries such as Canada require the photographers details and 'photo taken' date on the rear of the photograph, we include this as part of the service if required.
